This summer, Baška will once again bring a rich program filled with music, art, tradition and entertainment for all ages.

The musical part of the program brings a wide range of genres and performers this year as well.

Fans of klapa songs and traditional music will enjoy the promenade performances of Klapa Zvonimir (July 21, August 11, and August 25), which will turn the streets of Baška into magical musical scenery during the summer.

A guest appearance by a young group of accordionists from Germany (July 28) as a combination of youthful enthusiasm and international musical spirit on the summer stage of the Stara Riva!

In July, the St. Lucia complex in Jurandvor will host the Dobro Est Fest (July 17-20), an event that combines creative workshops, culture, music and a cheerful and cheerful atmosphere under the starry sky. A special place in the program is occupied by the monodrama “Ana Katarina” (July 19) performed by Ana Vilenica, an emotional story about Ana Katarina Frankopan Zrinski, a historical figure whose story still inspires today.

For film lovers, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Chaplin's 'The Gold Rush' (1925), we are also showing a silent classic with piano accompaniment by Vladimir Babin - a unique blend of film and music. In the unique ambience of St. Lucia, the audience can also expect two exceptional musical events that bring special energy and an unforgettable atmosphere: a concert by the Darko Rundek Eco Quartet (July 17) and a performance by Matija Cvek & The Funkensteins (July 20). For the youngest and families, Baška is bringing their favorite movie nights under the star sky again this summer.

On Palada square, behind the Rebica coffee bar, two warm and fun family stories await us: 24.7. the movie "Imaginary friends" is shown, and on 7.8. animated adventure "My Freaky Family". A perfect opportunity for family moments and relaxed summer gatherings outdoors.

For lovers of a more intimate atmosphere and more refined sound, the Baška Lighthouse Jazz Festival is organized, which at the very end of the Vela Riva gathers top performers from the world and domestic jazz and world music scene, such as Sturiale Groove's (August 10) and Atma Mundi Ensemble (August 24). The festival was created in cooperation with Zoran Majstorović, and its name evokes the atmosphere of the legendary jazz club The Lighthouse.

Fisherman's Days, a three-day festival with more than a century-long tradition, occupies a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors. The fishing heritage and local tradition are celebrated through concerts, sports competitions and a rich gastronomic offer.

This year's program includes performances by Giuliano & Diktator, Mauro Staraj & La Banda, and Klapa Iskon, a perfect start to August (1st - 3rd August) under a clear starry sky with local and international hits. In the heart of August, from 17th to 19th August, Baška turns into the stage for one of the most important guitar events in the region, the Baška International Guitar Festival, in collaboration with Damir Halilić Hal. The festival features the most famous guitarists from Croatia and the world, including Vlatko Stefanovski and Elvis Stanić, along with a program of music workshops, exhibitions and film screenings dedicated to the greats of the music scene.

On the Feast of the Assumption, August 15, the concert "From chanson to opera" will be held with top musicians: Kristina Kolar (soprano), Robert Kolar (baritone), Goran Prša (clarinet) and Vladimir Babin (piano) in a wonderful setting in front of the Church of St. Trinity. In addition to the cultural and musical program, there are also folk festivals that nurture the spirit of community and local heritage - from the popular Picigin Fest (July 26) for water sports lovers, the folk party Rokova (August 16) in Draga Bašćanska, to an evening with the klapa Intriga (August 22) in Batomalj, a small town not far from Baška.

The Baška cultural summer of 2025 confirms again that Baška is not only a vacation destination, but also a place where culture truly lives - through art, music, meetings and love for tradition.
