"KONOBA KRČKOG PRŠUTA" offers, in addition to Krk specialties, tasting menus and a professionally guided tour of the prosciutto with a short film about the prosciutto production process.

Krk prosciutto is known for its mild aroma and long maturation, and is dried in the bora wind for at least a year. It is characterized by its rich but subtle aroma and mild flavor, while its texture is soft and juicy, and the outer layer of salt and spices gives it an additional spiciness that fits perfectly with the richness of the meat's flavor.

Its quality and tradition have led to it being awarded the protected name "Krk prosciutto" as a mark of origin, which guarantees
that the prosciutto is produced according to the strict rules and traditions of this region.

Krk prosciutto is the first Croatian product with a protected geographical origin in the EU.
