From May 16th to 18th, the popular Crna Ovca festival returns with a rich program that combines music, sports, culture and, of course, the inevitable young Baška lamb.

At Crna Ovca, football is only the second most important side thing in the world. The first is, of course – lamb! But we will also give football the attention it deserves.
On Friday afternoon, May 16th, the playground in Baška will be the meeting place for young football players from several clubs.

The traditional Crni Jancić football tournament will once again bring together children, coaches, parents and fans, in an atmosphere that has nothing to do with the result or the number of goals.

Music and concerts on the main festival stage have always been an important part of the festival.

On Friday, the punk rock band Mašinko, the concert attraction Jonathan and the always good and energetic Kawasaki 3P will take over the stage at Palada.
Saturday is a new day in which the energy of the large audience will be raised by Antun Aleksa and his Idem, and the concert part of the program will be concluded by hip-hop legends, the group T.B.F.
Free concerts under the open sky, by the sea, the scent of lamb and the unique atmosphere of Baška, will once again be the perfect setting for an unforgettable party.

This year's program will once again feature a series of sporting and cultural events, from the traditional Corinthia Cup sailing regatta – Jure Vukasović Memorial, to hiking and cycling tours, to an attractive lecture by the famous Croatian astronomer and friend of the Black Sheep, Korad Korlević.

The youngest visitors will be able to enjoy numerous performances and workshops such as writing the Glagolitic alphabet, wool felting workshops and tying sailor's knots.

In order for the experience to be complete, Baška will offer local Baška lamb, prepared in countless ways. On the menus you will find almost everything you can imagine from lamb - from the inevitable lamb on a spit, lamb sausages, to modern interpretations such as lamb burgers and wraps. Baška is once again becoming a paradise for lamb lovers.

Last year, the festival received another quality certificate – the “Croatian Island Product” label, which recognizes the excellence and authenticity of island products and events.
