As part of the KrkBike project, in Baška and all other municipalities on the island of Krk,
bicycle rental stations were built consisting of
control cabinet and 10 stands with electric bicycles and bench for
charging laptops and cell phones and repairing bicycles.

The e-bike rental systems of all local government units are networked, so that the e-bike can be rented at one location and returned at another location.
The advantage of such a concept is the connection of the entire area of ​​the island as well
networking of municipalities and the city of Krk into one whole, just as it is
done also with the project of electromobility through electric cars.
