In front of the parish church, the journey to childhood begins. Together with your team, take part in a game through which you can experience the ambience of Baška. The ambience is conditioned by terrain, soil, water, and climate. Through the work of diligent hands through the centuries, natural givens have been ennobled and transformed into a place pleasant for living and resting. The walk through Baška ends with tasting the fruits of the work of many bees and hardworking people from Baška. The guided walk is intended for adults and children, locals and guests, individuals and groups.

A 1000 years of Baška's love fr the Glagolitic Alphabet

In the 9th century, an alphabet adapted to the writing of Slavic languages was devised. This oldest Slavic alphabet received in Croatia its classical form and the name under which it is known today - the Glagolitic alphabet. In the area of the Baška municipality, the Glagolitic alphabet has been used for various purposes for 1000 years. The people of Baška made a significant contribution to the research and popularization of the Glagolitic heritage. Using the Glagolitic circle, the participants of the guided walk will write the Glagolitic letters that we find scattered throughout the Baška valley.
